3. Visiting the website
Our website is hosted by a hosting provider in Germany. When you open the website, your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the status code, the amount of data, the referrer, and your browser and operating system are recorded in server log files.
This serves to deliver the website and operate it securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is this secure operation. Log files are kept for no more than 90 days.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering enquiries. For enquiries relating to a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.
We delete your details once your enquiry is closed and no statutory retention obligations apply. Providing your details is voluntary, but we cannot answer an enquiry via the form without your name and email address.
To protect against spam, a non-reversible hash is generated from your IP address and the current date and stored briefly on our web space. We also use hCaptcha, provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., USA. hCaptcha is only loaded when you use the form. Your IP address and details of your browser, device and interaction are then sent to hCaptcha to distinguish humans from automated input. In each case the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against abuse. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU standard contractual clauses. If you wish to avoid this, you can reach us by phone or email.
5. Email
Our email mailboxes are operated by an external email service provider. Transfers to the USA or other third countries are possible in this context. They are based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and otherwise on the EU standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 18 and 20 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
